She’s always been an avid supporter of President Barack Obama, and Scarlett Johansson was in Washington DC this weekend for the White House Correspondent’s Ball.

Rather than taking her hubby Ryan Reynolds, the “In Good Company” babe found another date instead- her twin brother Hunter who actually works for Obama.

In career news, it seems Scarlett has been eyeing the role of Courtney Love in the upcoming big screen biopic about the life of Kurt Cobain.

Johansson told press, “I know that there is a script. That’s as much as I know about it. I’m a big fan of Courtney’s, and I think she’s very, very talented. But I don’t know anything about the project. I think the idea is interesting and intriguing, but I would have to really wrap my head around it.”

Always stunning, Scarlett Johansson was among the stars on hand for the world premiere of Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment’s “Iron Man 2″ in Hollywood, California on Monday (April 26).

The Black Widow babe dazzled in Giorgio Armani Privé as she strutted down the El Capitan red carpet while joining up with co-stars Robert Downey Jr, Gwyneth Paltrow, Samuel L Jackson and director Jon Favreau.

While on the red carpet, ScarJo chatted about staying out of tabloids because she’s a “homebody” as well as doing the stuntwork required in “Iron Man 2″.

“It was slightly painful, but in the end it really paid off,” Miss Johansson said of the strenuous “Iron Man 2″ filming duties. “I have to say it was a lot of stunt training, strength training, weight resistance training and all of that stuff, and it really paid off in the end. I was able to do the stunt work and I’m very excited to see how it pans out tonight.”

She’s part of the amazing ensemble cast of the new movie “He’s Just Not That Into You,” and last night Scarlett Johansson stole the show at the big Los Angeles premiere.

The “In Good Company” hottie donned a sexy new brunette coif as she strolled down the red carpet outside Grauman’s Chinese Theater, exuding confidence and sex appeal.

And Scarlett was getting plenty of attention as she posed for the paparazzi in her strapless pink floral print floor-length dress with chandelier earrings.

“He’s Just Not That Into You” hits theaters this Friday, February 6th and also stars Jennifer Aniston, Ben Affleck, Drew Barrymore, Bradley Cooper, Justin Long, and Ginnifer Goodwin.

It’s been a big year for Scarlett Johansson, with all of her professional success as well as getting married to Ryan Reynolds. And last night she was glowing at the Los Angeles premiere of “The Spirit.”

The “In Good Company” actress showed up on the red carpet outside Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood sporting a wispy white strapless dress teamed with a pair of silver peep-toe heels.

In related news, Scarlett recently revealed that she’s thinking about recording a follow-up to this year’s “Anywhere I Lay My Head,” a collection of Tom Waits covers.

She told press she’d “love to do another album,” adding, “I don’t think I’d do covers, so it’d be a project that I have to dedicate myself to.”
